FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Robbie Scott Going ‘Outlaw’ Racing This Weekend
Shinnston, WV --- West Virginia dirt Late Model driver Robbie Scott, 30, of Shinnston, WV competed at two tracks in two states and came home with a pair of thirds over this past weekend. Scott’s two top three finishes came at Elkins Motor Speedway in Elkins, WV and Roaring Knob Speedway in Markley, PA. Scott drives the Mighty Motorsports Rocket Chassis/Mopars by Stanton #18 sponsored by Amos Paving, Atlas Autobody Parts LLC., Patricia Feltz, Walt's Inc., Advance Auto Parts of Shinnston, WV, Hoosier Tire, Rocket Chassis and Scott Sign and Design.

“This past weekend saw us once again at Elkins and Roaring Knob and we finished third at both Elkins and also at Roaring Knob,” stated Scott. “We were pleased with our finishes, we came from last place in both heats to finish third and second respectively. Elkins was its usual follow the leader surface. We started sixth and improved on that and at the Knob we started fourth and progressed a position. So, all in all it was a fair weekend.”

“I think we could have went a little softer on our tire selection at the Knob and been better. The cautions were killing us but we are still figuring what the car wants there.”

This Saturday evening July 28 Scott the team will journey north to Sharon Speedway in Hartford, OH and compete in a World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned race, a track Scott is familiar with and is looking forward to returning to for more than one reason.

“This weekend we will be going to Sharon Speedway, we have been saving up for this trip and we are very excited about the experience we hope to gain running with the World of Outlaws series,” commented Scott. “Hopefully we can make the show, that is our goal, it's tough running with those guys because of their experience and backing.”

“We are going to have a couple of our sponsors with us, KJ Woody of Atlas Autobody Parts, Patricia Feltz of Clarkston, Michigan and their families this weekend so hopefully we can run well for them!”

Scott also had another message for his fans.

“I would like to personally thank all of our fans who turned out to see us at the autograph night at Elkins Speedway this past weekend. It is always nice to meet our fans and share a word with them!
